Need a garage conveniently located off the back of the house? How about 5 bedrooms and 3 baths carefully placed to allow
for privacy and affordability? This house requires less than 2,500 sq. feet, yet offers maximum livability. Without going overboard, the master bath still manages to offer all of the luxuries of larger bathrooms and a HUGE walk-in closet to finish
it off, while the master bedroom itself is spacious indeed.
Bedroom number 2 also boasts generous closet space, making it the perfect craft room or office. The bedrooms are arranged
in such a way that two bedrooms share 1 bath both upstairs and down. And if you love a loft, well this home has that too.
The kids have their own retreat overlooking the living room. Except for the sloped ceiling leading to the second floor, it
would be hard to tell that this home had an upper level since the stairs are tucked neatly behind the kitchen. Depending on the lot, a basement could easily be added to this plan as well, given the design's efficient layout. As another option, the
pantry in the dining room could be pushed back a foot or so to allow for relocation of the stacked laundry units off of the
hall.
Even though there is not a formal entry foyer to waste precious space, the rear hall pretty much takes you anywhere you
want to go in the house except to the master bedroom, which is separated from the other bedrooms for additional privacy. Much time and thought was put into this design to allow for aesthetics, comfort, and affordability for the family that needs a little extra space.
Roof trusses are used to allow an open feel between the upper and lower levels. Also note that bedroom number 5 is created
using attic room trusses, which in turn cuts down on additional framing.
